Meet the Kidney Doctors
Initial visits to the doctors are held in our Yakima Clinic. If dialysis is prescribed, doctors will often see patients at one of the six DaVita Dialysis Clinics in Yakima County during their treatments. Patients who are hospitalized can be seen by the doctors at Memorial Hospital, where they have privileges.
Dr. Sajal Kumar joined Nephrology Associates of Yakima in July 2009. He is a board-certified nephrologist who has provided care to the renal patients of the Yakima Valley for many years. His aim is to always try to provide the best and most cost-effective care to kidney patients.
As a Nephrologist his primary objective is to save and protect the kidneys of all of his patients and if a patient progresses on to dialysis, then to work together to get a renal transplant as soon as possible.
Dr. Xiao Mark Ling joined Nephrology Associates of Yakima in August 2021. He is a board-certified specialist in nephrology committed to providing cost-effective, patient-oriented care. He joins Nephrology Associates of Yakima following the completion of his fellowship at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Ling is a member of the Renal Physician Association and maintains an active interest in developments in kidney disease research, attending national conferences and reading medical journals in his spare time. Dr. Ling is passionate about patient education and believes the best patient outcomes stem from well informed joint decision-making and an understanding of each individual’s concerns.
Dr. Naveen Ravikumar obtained his medical degree from Thanjavur Medical College in India in 2014. He completed his Internal medicine residency at University of Buffalo in 2020 and his nephrology fellowship at Oregon Health and Sciences University in 2022. He has been a vital part of many research projects since 2013 and has had multiple publications in medical journals throughout his career. Dr. Ravikumar joined Nephrology Associates of Yakima in July 2022 after completing his fellowship. He enjoys running and traveling.
